Modem Pool

This system monitors and controls a pool of modems. Each modem has a controller which monitors the whole modem signals and takes the best action in the case of errors. In the case of unrecoverable modem errors the modem goes to shutdown mode for energy saving and the line becomes busy intelligently to avoid ringing of the defected modem. Each modem bank has a main controller that monitors and controls the status of the bank, its modems and their controllers and takes the best action in the case of errors. All the modem banks are connected to each other and communicate with each other and if the controller of each bank faces a problem the other banks would cure it. The status of each bank and each modem can be monitored and controlled through the LAN or Internet using internet browsers.
This system is installed and being used in plenty of ISPs.
